The RA SRC Training Center as a Platform for Professional Cooperation within the EasTnT Initiative

Within the framework of the regional initiative “Strengthening Sustainable and Digital Trade Lanes and Logistics Concepts between the Eastern Partnership Countries and the EU,” participants of the EasTnT program visited the Training Center of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

The program, implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), aims to support the development of digital, sustainable, and interoperable customs and logistics systems in Eastern Partnership countries—Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine—in line with EU standards.

The delegation included representatives of the EasTnT program leadership, as well as customs experts from Eastern Partnership and Central Asian countries. The purpose of the visit was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the structure of the RA SRC Training Center, its management system, methodologies for developing educational programs, the use of digital learning tools, and the Center’s role in strengthening the capacities of public servants.

In particular, core directions and features of the educational processes were presented, including professional development programs aligned with current requirements in the tax and customs sectors, as well as transformation mechanisms through which the Center responds to the priorities of public administration development.

The visit also emphasized the importance of strengthening practical ties and further cooperation with representatives of the training centers of customs administrations from EasTnT member countries, particularly Ukraine and Moldova. This creates a foundation for developing educational partnerships, implementing joint programs, and exchanging experience.

The working visit organized at the RA SRC Training Center within the EasTnT initiative once again highlighted the importance of regional cooperation in developing professional competencies through education. The participation of representatives from customs administrations and training centers created new opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint initiatives, and harmonization of training processes.
