On September 29, 2026, the AGBU Armenia office hosted the presentation and partnership meeting of the “Learn and Earn: Armenia” (LEAP) program under the theme “From Skills to Employment.”
The event brought together program partners, representatives of the public and private sectors, development partners, training organizations, and program participants. Discussions focused on the program’s results, labor market trends, employment priorities and strategic directions, as well as employer demand and labor market challenges.
During the event, Arusyak Mirzakhanyan, Director of the SRC Training Center, delivered remarks on the connection between education, skills, and employment. She emphasized that the purpose of professional education is not limited to transferring knowledge; it is equally important to create an environment where participants can apply the knowledge and skills they acquire, develop professionally, and realize their potential. In this context, she presented the SRC Training Center as a bridge between the public and private sectors, education and the labor market, highlighting the connection between learning and earning within the “Learn and Earn” program.
As part of the partnership, more than 250 beneficiaries have received and continue to receive training at the SRC Training Center in three main areas: accounting, sales, and customer service. The program combines professional content with practical skills, digital tools, artificial intelligence, and field-specific knowledge.
During the event, program participants also shared their experiences, highlighting the professional, practical, and applicable knowledge and skills they gained at the SRC Training Center, as well as the new connections and professional community they developed. According to the participants, the training contributed to expanding their professional knowledge and strengthening their competitiveness in the labor market.
The partnership within the LEAP program brings together education, skills development, and employment, contributing to the realization of participants’ professional potential.
