Talent Connect Professional Orientation and Career Development Event

One of the primary and important conditions for career development and professional orientation is the presence of guiding events, especially those that provide opportunities to meet with representatives of institutions serving as primary sources of information.

Among such events is Talent Connect, which on March 2–3 brought together more than 60 well-known companies from the public and private sectors across various fields (HR, IT, UI/UX design, finance, business, and more), including educational organizations.

This year, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) was also among the event participants. Tax and customs service employees Andranik Hakobyan and Ninel Zakaryan shared their experiences through comprehensive presentations and spoke about the opportunities and challenges of working in the public sector. Their stories once again highlighted the honor and complexities of working in government, particularly within tax and customs administration.

Career development opportunities within the system were presented by representatives of the SRC Training Center.

With a creative twist, the Training Center team introduced interactive games with questionnaires designed to test public knowledge about the roles of tax officials and related topics. These engaging activities not only educated participants but also increased awareness and curiosity about the SRC’s activities. Participants who faced challenges in answering questions were pleasantly surprised with chocolate rewards, making the learning experience both sweet and memorable.

The SRC’s participation in the Talent Connect career development event emphasizes its commitment to attracting and nurturing talent, promoting understanding of its crucial role within Armenia’s economic framework, and building bridges between the public sector and the community. Through such initiatives, the SRC continues to demonstrate its dedication to innovation, fostering public engagement, and providing career development opportunities.
