The RA SRC Training Center Meets Students of YSU Ijevan Branch

As part of the public awareness strategy on tax and customs reforms, the RA SRC Training Center initiated a series of meetings with university students. The goal is to raise awareness about programs and pathways for receiving education and obtaining a new profession within the State Revenue Committee, as well as to familiarize students with legislative changes and current activities.

The first regional meeting-discussion in this format took place on October 20, 2023, at the Ijevan branch of Yerevan State University (YSU).

Attendees included Arusyak Mirzakhanyan, Director of the SRC Training Center, Artur Hakobyan, Deputy Head of the Tax Inspectorate-Department of Current Control of Taxpayers, and Training Program Coordinators Arus Hakobyan and Lilit Poghosyan.

Arusyak Mirzakhanyan presented the students with the programs and opportunities available within the SRC system, which can contribute to developing professional skills and gaining practical experience.

Artur Hakobyan shared his experience, focusing on the SRC tax-related functions, while Lilit Poghosyan introduced the courses organized by the Training Center.

The SRC representatives emphasized that a key motivation for working in the public sector is performing state-oriented activities and understanding one’s own contribution and responsibility in the development of the country.
