Professional Training for the Staff of the RA Ministry of Finance
In cooperation with the RA Ministry of Finance, a four-day training program on the topic “Professional Training for the Staff of the RA Ministry of Finance” was held at the RA SRC Training Center on November 21, 23, 28, and 30, 2023, for the Ministry’s employees.
The training combined theoretical and practical components, including lectures, visual materials, group discussions, role-playing exercises, situational analysis, and the application of comprehensive methods to develop soft skills and improve professional competencies.
On the first day, participants, together with the trainer, explored tools for effective communication, advanced approaches to verbal and written communication, strategies for handling difficult scenarios and emotional situations, and engaged in group discussions on developing a customer-service mindset based on empathy.
On the second day, participants reviewed and expanded their understanding of a citizen-centeric approach, analyzed complex feedback and complaints, discussed advanced problem-solving techniques and tools, and developed innovative solutions.
The third day focused on effective time management methods, approaches for managing workload efficiently, advanced conflict resolution strategies, methods for resolving conflicts with citizens, as well as group discussions on negotiation and compromise techniques.
On the fourth day, participants performed exercises on group activities and team building, explored advanced methods for collecting and analyzing citizens’ feedback, emphasized the importance of teamwork in citizen services, and carried out action planning.
The training was conducted by Dr. Tigran Simonyan, PhD in Humanities, Professor at Yerevan State University, Faculty of European Languages and Communication, Department of Foreign Literature, member of international editorial boards and scientific associations; Silva Mesropyan, qualified management consultant, Director of the Institute of Management Consulting Armenia (IMC Armenia), ICMCI/CMC-Global member organization; and Varuzhan Avanesyan, founder and CEO of InfoSkills.
The effectiveness of the training is further evidenced by participant evaluations and their recommendations for ensuring the continuity of such programs.
