Preparatory Course for the Public Sector Accountant Qualification Exam

 At the RA SRC Training Center, a partner of the “Learn and Earn: Artsakh” program, a course titled “Preparatory Course for the Public Sector Accountant Qualification Exam” was conducted, with the participation of 15 Armenians from Artsakh.

 The course was delivered by:

• Karen Alaverdyan: Head of the Accounting and Auditing Regulation and Reports Monitoring Department of the RA Ministry of Finance.
• Raffi Aleksanyan: Member of the Public Oversight Board for Accounting and Auditing, Advisor to the Director of “Atenk” LLC.
• Ori Alaverdyan: Head of the Department of Revenue Policy and Administration Methodology at the RA Ministry of Finance.

 The aim of the course was to familiarize participants with the unified principles of organizing and maintaining accounting in public sector organizations, as well as preparing and presenting general-purpose financial statements, and to prepare them for the public sector accountant qualification exam.

 The “Humanitarian Aid and Integration for Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh” program (“Learn and Earn: Artsakh”) is implemented by AGBU Armenia, with the financial support of HEKS/EPER, in cooperation with the “Shen” NGO and “Syunik-Development” Community NGO. The RA SRC Training Center has also joined this important initiative.
